All these come to mind when I think about my blogging lately. When reading countless fashion blogs every day, I see so much content, picking up a trend got very easy.
Just like youtubers classics (what’s in my bag, hauls, everyday make up routine, draw my life etc) there are bloggers almost cliched posts. Inspiration collages, new in, shoes/clothes/jewelry collection or even specific brand/clothing item suddenly becoming a main character in ootd posts all over interwebs. Nothing is really wrong with that, but with each new, you become less and less impressed and bothered to read.
What I would like to say is, that I don’t want to follow those trends. I’ve probably said this a billion times already, but I really don’t want to post just for the sake of posting. Those trendy, classic posts may be easy to just follow and get potential instant attention out of it, but I don’t want to do it. At the same time, developing original and creative content takes up much more time.
I guess this kind of explains why the blog has been almost hibernating lately. That said, you could assume there’s something good coming and you would be correct. You’ll still have to wait a bit, but it’s going to be worth it, I promise. In the meantime, I find it much easier to post random shots on my Instagram and Snapchat (pelamarela) – be sure to check that out. Oh, and one more thing… Happy Friday! (you have no idea how happy I am it’s finally weekend!)
