Wardrobe Staples: Spring ’25

To be completely honest, I’m not sure where this spring will take me. So far, I’ve only used the “pants side” of my wardrobe, and my outfit formula has been pretty simple: wide pants, a basic T-shirt, a belt, a watch, and sneakers. I’m also really into co-ords and long pants these days. Co-ords are a no-brainer for the morning rush, and there’s just something more elegant about full-length pants compared to cuffed ones.

I recently had my colour palette analysis done and discovered that my entire wardrobe is “wrong”—what a perfect excuse to go shopping, right? Now, I’m trying to incorporate more muted True Autumn colours into my outfits, such as shades of brown and pastel pink.

This shift actually ties in well with my current personality crisis since I don’t really know what my style is anymore. I’m drawn to minimalism and tomboyish looks, yet my girly side is practically screaming, wondering why I own so many dresses that are just sitting around collecting dust. The constant duality, right? Consequently, my edit of wardrobe staples this season seems all over the place.
