Before I dive into this very easy breezy post, I would just like to thank all of you for the outstanding support on the previous post. I got so much positive feedback over it and I can’t even express how happy it makes me. Now back to more fun topics, travel!
I used to think travelling with only a carry-on would be so much harder, but it turns out it’s actually very easy. Not to mention often a cheaper and lighter alternative to a traditional big suitcase… My past few trips were all made with a small luggage only and I developed a small system getting through airport even faster and easier.
1. have your liquids ready beforehand
Pack your liquids in clear zip bag and have it ready for inspection by not stuffing the bag in the suitcase prior to check up. Saves you time and hustle in the security line.
2. linen bags for extra stuff
Linen bags are great for organizing the suitcase. Have extra few of them ready for things like shoes or dirty laundry. Also, keep one out with all the electronics and liquids ready for the security check-up.
3. tiny cross-body bag for documents and phone
Most of airlines don’t complicate over an extra tiny cross-body bag besides your carry-on. That way you can have your phone, wallet and documents always on hand.
4. must haves: headphones, reading material and water bottle
Whether travelling alone or with company, it never hurts to have headphones and some reading material handy. Can help you relax whilst flying and make time go faster. Water is just a no-brainer. No matter how long the flight, hydration is important, so make your way to the nearest shop or caffe after the security checkup and stock up.
