The truth is, I thought about taking a digital break and resume blogging only back at home, but this place is just too beautiful not to share some of it with you right away. After what seems to be forever, we finally arrived to Lanzarote and it’s just what my soul needed. Travelling always does it for me. Never mind the sleepless nights, spent dancing, drinking and exploring, I always come back with a heart full of new memories that warm me up even when I’ll be back in the wintery Ljubljana. A week away from the usual comfort zone and exploring something completely new. Flying away from your problems is not a solution, but sometimes taking few steps back is the right thing to do.
Besides, if it means landing on this sweet island, I’m all for it. Cute small white houses, green doors and cactuses, cats everywhere, warm sun, blue sea all around and this serene feeling you get the minute you step out of the airport. And this is about all I need to recharge my drained batteries, to be honest.
