Happy New Year guys! I hope you had a wonderful time celebrating yesterday. Still can’t believe 2016 is here already… But I’m excited to see how will it go! This past year was truly one of my favorites, so before I completely let go of it, I want to relive few moments.
I started 2015 the best possible way – in Rome! There, I made a pact with myself to make the best of it and take advantage of every opportunity that comes my way. I decided to become the “Yes girl”. YOLO became my motto for most of the year. Having crazy ideas? No matter how stupid, I was always in for the ride. I got a lot of stories out of it, some are awesome and some horrible. But that’s life for you – no regrets! At least I wasn’t bored.
Went vegan. With few bumps along the way, I’m proud to say I’m sticking to the new “diet” and couldn’t be happier with my decision. Also got myself a (visible) reminder not to overload and over-stress – consequences are just not worth it. Kicked myself in the butt and started serious gym routine. Realized I can get myself in shape, if I just set my mind to it!
Turned Fashion Junkie into pelamarela. It now feels so natural I sometimes forget it was any different! This made me realize I still love to blog and got me back on track.
Made lots of memories in different cities: Rome, Graz, Pag, London, Zagreb… Made even more travelling as my goal in 2016. I collected lots of awesome memories with friends. They truly are the best thing in this world. I met so many great new people this year it’s crazy.
Put myself out there and got my heart broken. Hard. I was hoping 2015 will be the year for love, but I guess I wasn’t ready for it yet. But I worked hard at my job and school. Progressed to new projects, learnt a lot that will help me in the future. Working hard really pays off!
And now, I’ve ended 2015 in my favourite place on earth, Italy, with my best friend by my side. Salute to 2016, being even better!
