I’ll admit, I do like to eat. A lot. And most certainly good. Since I turned vegan in 2015, everyone is asking me what I even eat. And contrary to popular belief, being vegan these days is actually pretty easy. Yes, you still have certain limitations and you can’t turn to the nearest McDonald’s for a cheeseburger when the hunger strikes. And yes, you can be vegan solely on soy-lattes and pasta with tomato sauce, but if you really want to do it right, it kind of pushes you to eat healthier. I developed a much wider taste since. I’m not afraid to explore, to try new things and flavors. That might’ve brought me certain foodie title. :)
What I also discovered since turning, is that I actually like to cook and bake, experiment in the kitchen. Mostly just for myself, but sometimes I’ll surprise my friends with a chocolate cake or other yummy dessert. In the sea of food blogs and Pinterest, I don’t really use cooking books, but prefer browsing on the web for ideas. You can find some of the Pinterest recipes I’ve tried out down below and everything else pinned in my Vegan Style board. Going vegan can indeed be very fun. Try it sometimes!
