Multiple Fashion Personality Disorder

Sorry for the week-long absence, it’s been crraazzy around here. It’s all over now, so I’m back to being a good blogger. My draft list is enormous, so expect lots of reading material!

Solving random fashion quizzes in magazines you often get questions with something like, “Describe your style in one word“. That’s the moment I usually stop and move on. I just can’t. Can you?

I feel like majority of people can’t really describe their style. Why? Because it’s simply too random to put it in single word. I sometimes feel like having a Multiple Personality disorder. Style-wise of course (Although I do have a pessimist and an eternal optimist living inside of me… hm. Maybe I should get checked out). One day I feel like a total hippie and another I like things as monochrome as possible. Sometimes there are too much going on in just one outfit.

I feel like there are many more fashion personalities living inside of me than just one. But that’s totally fine, isn’t it? It’s what makes things interesting. Fashion after all, is a way of expressing yourself, expressing your feelings, personality, creativity. Even if that means that once you dress like a total rocker and the next day you embody the whole rainbow. I feel like you shouldn’t take it too seriously and stick to just one “genre”. I mean, why would you, there’s no need to categorize and limit yourself.

Although, if I’d really had to describe my fashion style in one word, I think that word would be comfortable. Because no matter what trend or non-trend you put on, you have to feel comfy in it. Literally or just in your head. See, I can do it, after all.
