New weekly theme post! This blog is called Fashion Junkie for a reason, and that are multiple obsessions. In particular, those involving fashion (duuuh). I thought I’d do the favorite of the week, every Friday. What do you think? This week: peplum dresses!
I have a funny relationship with trends. I will ignore it at first and when the time goes on and that thing is still here, I will hate it, just because everyone has it, but eventually I’ll surrender and admit I love it too.

Same thing happened with peplum. I’m still not sure about the classic peplum thing, but I have to confess I fell in love with the lower alternative. I bought one this summer and it instantly became one of my favorites, especially when I’m in a hurry to get out the door. It’s such an easy thing to just throw on and bam, you look very together. Also looks great now in warmer months, as well as it will during the winter with some tights and a jacket – the dress has closet staple written all over, don’t you think?
